Keke Palmer has a new memoir where she opens up about the racist incident she experienced on the set of Scream Queens.

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Keke Palmer has never shied away from sharing the highs and lows of her career, and in her new memoir, 'Master of Me: The Secret to Controlling Your Narrative', she opened up about a particularly racist experience on the set of 'Scream Queens'.

Keke Palmer recalled a moment working on ‘Scream Queens’ in her new book where she felt the need to apologize to the show’s creator Ryan Murphy

In the book, Keke Palmer refers to that person as ‘Brenda,’ claiming her attempt to ease tension between Brenda and another coworker by suggesting that everyone should try to "have fun and respect each other." Brenda reacted by snapping back, “Keke, seriously, just stop. Who do you think you are? Martin Luther King?”

Palmer starred in the Fox horror comedy alongside Emma Roberts, Jamie Lee Curtis, Lea Michele, Abigail Breslin and Billie Lourd.

Keke Palmer also said "Scream Queens" creator Ryan Murphy "ripped" into her over a disagreement about her filming schedule.
