COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football has hired Miguel Patrick as a defensive quality control coach, as first reported by On3. The move was confirmed by Patrick whose updated X profile reflects the new position.

Ohio State football lost numerous coaches throughout the last few months. It will add one back with former UCLA assistant Tony Washington Jr.

Hartline, who has spent eight years with the Buckeyes and led the wide receivers room, was promoted to offensive coordinator. He has recruited and developed high-caliber wide receivers, including Chris Olave, Garrett Wilson, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Marvin Harrison Jr. and Jeremiah Smith.
