Sony and PlayStation have deployed various beta programs throughout the company’s home video game console platform’s lifetime. Now, the company announced it is streamlining the process of these tests with a new PlayStation Beta Program.

Sony is launching a new PlayStation beta program to offer “an easier, more consolidated way for gamers to sign up to participate in future PlayStation betas across a wide range of PlayStation experiences,” according to a blog post by Sony’s Sid Shuman.

Sony has announced a brand-new Beta Program at PlayStation that aims to be a centralized place for players to register their interest in trying out a "range of future PlayStation betas," including testing out participating PS5 and PC games.
