Blood donors who give the gift of blood starting Jan. 1 will automatically be entered for a chance to win a trip to Super Bowl LIX.

Watkins had adenocarcinoma of the trachea when she was 8 years old. Donating plasma and platelets, which she said takes her a few hours, is Watkins’ way of giving back.

Donors have until Jan. 26 to give blood at either the organization's blood drives or blood donation centers in Michigan.
