Glenn, who played cornerback under Parcells with the Jets from 1997-99 and then with the Cowboys in 2005 and 2006, is the Jets new head coach.

Glenn credited his past with the Jets as a huge reason why it was his No. 1 choice of where to coach despite other head coaching interviews he had around the NFL this offseason. Glenn not only started his playing career in New York as a first-round pick in 1994, his first front-office gig was with the Jets as a scout.

If there was anything to take away from Monday’s press conference, it’s this: The Jets are Aaron Glenn’s show. Glenn and Mougey will work together, and the historically over-involved Johnson still lingers, but the Jets will be a team cultivated in Glenn’s vision.
