After being pulled from the Sundance lineup and returned within a matter of days, "Blknws: Terms & Conditions" debuted at Park City on Monday morning.

Days after the film was pulled from Sundance over a dispute between Participant Media and director Kahlil Joseph, James Shani’s Rich Spirit banner has acquired “Blknws: Terms & Conditions,” according to an insider with knowledge of the project.

“Blknws: Terms & Conditions” was set to premiere in this year’s Sundance’s Next program as an official selection. However, Participant Media requested the festival yank the film from its lineup after learning that director Joseph submitted a new, secret cut to Sundance and other global fest’s without the media company’s knowledge.
