Philadelphia has opened 20 new warming centers for people who need them during the city's Code Blue emergency.While the snow has moved out, bitterly cold temperatures and biting winds have moved in.Philly is currently under a Code Blue alert.

Monmouth County is calling a “Code Blue” alert as temperatures drop throughout the area. As of Tuesday morning, the alert is set to last until Thursday at 9 a.m. “Code Blue” is put in place when temperatures drop below freezing (32 F) and conditions pose a threat to unsheltered individuals.

All 21 New Jersey counties are under a ‘Code Blue’ advisory as temperatures plummet and winds pick up. ‘Code Blue’ activations allow local governments to open warming centers and direct people who are unhoused into shelters.

Philadelphia city officials are providing more details into its the Code Blue Warming Center initiative which provides 20 warming centers open across the city—including one in every neighborhood and council district.

Trump began his remarks by announcing a $20 billion investment from DAMAC Properties, a Middle-East based company, to build new data centers across the United States, particularly in the Midwest and Sun Belt.
