Robert Eggers is the new directing darling in Hollywood. The filmmaker will release Werwulf at Christmas 2026 and has now been confirmed for a long-awaited legacy sequel. The Nosferatu filmmaker will write and direct a new Labyrinth film for TriStar Pictures.

Eggers is writing the new Labyrinth script alongside his The Northman and Werwulf partner Sjón, with Chris and Eleanor Columbus, Lisa Henson, and Brian Henson set to produce. An official cast list and release date is yet to be revealed.
