Cops identified Matthew Zoll, 23, as the prime suspect in the stabbing of his father, Joseph Zoll, Newsday reported. Joseph Zoll, 61, was found stabbed to death at his home in Rocky Point around 1:30 a.m. Saturday, Suffolk County police said. Matthew Zoll was identified Sunday as the suspected killer.

Suffolk County Police are searching for a 23-year-old man accused of stabbing his father to death in his Long Island home early Saturday morning, police said.

Suffolk County Police Homicide Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to locate Matthew Zoll, who is wanted for the murder of his father, Joseph Zoll. Matthew Zoll, 23, is white, 6 feet 1 inch tall, 150 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. Zoll, who has a small scar under his left eye, is not believed to have a vehicle.
