Mahendra Singh Dhoni announced his international retirement on August 15, 2020. With this, he drew curtains on a spectacular career that spanned 15 years. The former India skipper led the national team for almost 10 years before fully relinquishing the role in 2017.

MS Dhoni has made a huge statement and said that he does not miss international cricket. Dhoni played his last game for Team India at the 2019 World Cup. He announced his retirement a year later. Dhoni continues to play IPL for Chennai Super Kings.

Dhoni will next be seen in the 2025 edition of the Indian Premier League after the 43-year-old was retained for Rs 4 crore by the Chennai Super Kings, with the franchise making full use of the modified uncapped player retention rule.

MS Dhoni opened up about his views on social media, saying that if players perform well on the ground, they should not need a PR. At the age of 43, Dhoni is set to play in his 18th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Having made his debut two decades back, former India captain MS Dhoni witnessed the rise of platforms like Twitter and Instagram, but he always believed that if he played well, there was no need for additional PR efforts.
