Sometimes bigger really is better. At CES 2025, home entertainment manufacturer Hisense debuted a whopping 116-inch TriChroma LED television that takes up more wall real estate than a Jackson Pollock.

For some people, there’s at least more of a chance of actually owning the also-new 116-inch TriChroma LED TV. That’s because, at its core, this is still a Mini LED set. But Hisense has developed a new local dimming system that it calls “RGB Local Dimming Technology.” The key benefit here seems to be color vibrance:

The 116-inch TriChroma LED TV is being pitched as the “ultimate choice” for movie lovers and will support Dolby Vision, Dolby Vision IQ, and IMAX Enhanced.

Hisense who are now claiming to be the #1 TV brand in Australia has used CES 2025 to introduce a brand-new TV technology called TriChroma that is brighter and uses 10% less energy. To launch this technology Hisense,
