Nearly all evacuation orders and warnings have been lifted for communities in Los Angeles and San Bernardino counties affected by the Bridge Fire after it recently became California's largest actively burning wildfire.

Bridge Fire initially started 2:12 p.m. Sep. 8 in Los Angeles, San Bernardino County. After being active for 12 days, it has burned 54,795 acres. A fire crew of 1,870 succeeded in containing 59% of the fire by Friday morning.
