Kirk's Eulogy--Spock gave his life why? - The Trek BBS
Oct 31, 2022 · Perhaps Kirk thinks it's the kind of legacy Spock would appreciate - being able to bring new life to a new planet, adding his own contribution to IDIC. Or perhaps the new world is not only the impending creation of Genesis, but a world where the crew of the Enterprise live on and Spock is no longer there.
you know how the 1701-A had three captains (kirk, spock, scotty)...
Mar 16, 2011 · Re: you know how the 1701-A had three captains (kirk, spock, scotty).. Actually, in the court-martial scene of ST IV, Scotty is still wearing a commander rank insignia I hhave always pretended that Scotty was promoted to a brevet "Captain of Engineering" in ST III, but the paperwork to officially change him to a full Captain was delayed due to ...
What did Kirk say to Spock? - The Trek BBS
May 24, 2017 · I think Spock was just enraged to have his and Kirk's suspicions about Valeris confirmed. Kirk had obviously suspected her for longer, though. I don't think the possibility of Valeris being a traitor crossed Spock's mind until Kirk suggested it. ("I was prejudiced by her accomplishments as a Vulcan.")
Age of kirk and spock - The Trek BBS
Jun 10, 2009 · If the statement by Captain Robau about the stardate being "2233, 4", means April 2233, it would indicate James T. Kirk was born in April 2233. Spock, therefore is older than Kirk... And this assumes Spock was commissioned at the age of 21 or 22.
Kirk’s Comment in Elaan of Troyius - The Trek BBS
Jun 5, 2019 · One defense that Kirk can make to keep him from having to sleep on the couch is that he can claim that the following statement would have been made if he were charged with teaching a Troyian man. “Mr. Spock, the men on your planet are logical. That’s the only planet in this galaxy that can make that claim.”
"I have been, and always shall be, your friend." - The Trek BBS
May 19, 2009 · Kirk, Spock and Bones could not have been cast any better. The writers understood where the story had to go. Plot, canon, space battles, set dressing et al - I'm not going to say it doesn't matter (well, I'm probably less concerned about canon than most), but the relationships and the storytelling are what draw me to Trek.
When Spock beat up Kirk.... | The Trek BBS
Jun 18, 2012 · He saw Kirk as a bully, like the kids at school. Spock may have disliked Kirk at the time, but certainly not enough to beat the shit out of him. Even seeing Kirk as a bully now only led to Spock snapping because of the extreme stresses he'd endured, losing his mother and his entire homeworld. On any other day he'd probably have kept his cool.

Jun 10, 2009 · Memory Alpha has 2232 as Spock's birth. I'll bet it's based mostly on the supposition that Kirk and Spock are supposed to be about the same age, and for what it's worth, it's also based a bit on Shatner and Nimoy being exactly the same age. Of course, Kirk was played as two years younger than Shatner really was.
Question: Where is it explicitly said that Kirk took command ...
Dec 3, 2018 · Pike is some sort of an recruiter, Spock teaches at the Academy. So we get to distribute the 11 years between Spock's Academy entry and Kirk becoming Spock's CO, not between Spock's graduation and Kirk gaining command of the NCC-1701. Which means we can, and perhaps ought to, do gaps of all sorts. Timo Saloniemi
Did or did not Kirk notice Spock leave the bridge in TWOK
Oct 21, 2014 · TOS Kirk woud have called on Spock. This is Admiral Kirk. Its funny though, Spock and Kirk worked flawlessly as a team to get the command code of the Reliant and the repair subterfuge. I can only think its David and Carol being added to the mix that distracts Kirk.
