Jan 5, 2023 · X15 r2 owner here. The worst thing about Alienware laptops is Alienware Control Center (AWCC) software. I had bizarre issues with 3 separate x15 r2 laptops where the fan speeds and default power / thermal profiles would not work at all. Such as clicking on "full power" or "balanced" or "quiet" , the fan speeds would never change.

Also, if you know what a good gaming/streaming PC build would be that consists of either a 3070-3090 Ti GPU, 2TB+ M.2 SSD, i7/Ryzen 7 or better CPU, 2x8GB/16GB/32GB RAM, and between $1500-$2300 (the more under $2300 the better lol) that information would be greatly appreciated!

Feb 13, 2022 · The x15 also has a 4 fan system but due it its smaller size it does not work as well as the x17 and gets hot. And really all Alienware laptops run very loud under load. Another issue of Alienware laptops is their software is pretty bad, and personally the worst I have messed with. Very unstable and would crash other apps with it.
