Square Enix account and Square Enix Online Store account not
Jul 2, 2013 · that is, my Square Enix account (the account used to access the beta forums) is not the same as the account used to access the online store through the official website. I initially tried using my SE account but it didn't work, and when i registered the online store account i used my SE user name and it said it was "available for use".

tldr; I would be careful about pre-ordering any item in the Square Enix store where the release date is a year or more. GameStop selling new “pre-owned” copies of Forspoken with preorder bonus for $19.99 but had $5 off so spent $15.

I wish you could pre-purchase the expansions via the Mogstation, it is very 2010 that you can't purchase it through your current account and have to buy it through a web-store. I always have trouble with the Square Enix store. I get errors all the time. I had to have a friend purchase Endwalker for me and give me the code to get it.

Jun 15, 2024 · During the time frame, Square Enix changed distributors, away from ScaleFast, but confirmed that all previous pre-orders would still be fulfilled. As a precautionary, I contacted Square Enix back in Dec 2023 to ask about my items. They confirmed they had everything and was waiting for Kairi to release in April.

Mar 26, 2024 · I forgot I bought the game on steam. I refunded the Square Enix store one. Purchased on steam instead. I got the code instantly. Used it in mogstation and it works smoothly. I have never been more angry. If you bought FF14 on steam before, Purchase Dawntrail on Steam Look in CD Keys by right clicking the game in steam library. Manage. CD keys.
