Also, the local Interstate Battery representative doesn't think that the new 22F batteries have the molded in foot on the side. I found this item at CJ Pony Parts. Jan 3, 2007 · available from mustang venders selling Scot drake products. if you want a 24f battery with the molded in "foot" to accommodate a 65-66 mustang battery tray, excide is the way to go. recently, i purchased a "Bosch" battery from pep boys, and it has the molded foot, and was probably made by exide. it cost about $120.00.
