I heard (or read) about some insulin pens not working. So, I tested mine a few times, and after priming each time, I injected the insulin into the air, instead of my stomach, to see what happened.

Dec 26, 2019 · I used to be on Trulicity and that thing was a dang horse shot. Had to brace myself before injecting. Ozempic is the same needle used in Novolog Insulin pens, very small and usually not painful. Trulicity was nice in that it was a single use pen, whereas Ozempic has 2 doses so it needs to go back in the refrigerator after the 1st dose.
