I checked Verizon's coverage map and its strictly 4g out here. Still good enough to watch netflix and for online gaming. If I was traveling in an RV this would be my pick as well. I will report back with any issues... the address I used is in 5g territory and is about an hour and a half away. I was surprised this actually worked.

I have seen people use supported addressed and get Straight Talk's 5G Home Internet to activate. There is no easy way to find an address, but for look at the map and find a C-band 5G area, and try a few addresses from that area.

Yep, f straight talk. Fuck over customers that have been with straight talk for a decade and find out. Way to go Verizon, you bought a good cell company and then alienated your long time customers by forcing them onto your network. Jun 23, 2023 · The 5G UW is C-band 5G aka NR band n77 and mmWave 5G aka NR band n260 and n261. I do not know how they show on some people with Straight Talk, but I have not seen people get mmWave 5G. I have seen select people get C-band 5G. mmWave 5G is in select cities in select locations, and the range is very limited. This is heavy line of site coverage.

If you have AT&T or T-Mobile based SIM, they could be trying to get to you to switch to Verizon based SIM because Verizon bought Tracfone which included Straight Talk back on November 23, 2021.
