My main gripes with it being that it changed the Ultimate Technique system of the original, while also laying the focus more on fighting monsters than ninjas, especially on the higher difficulty settings.

Yea blocking is strong, and it needs to be for when the game starts giving you different and mixed enemy types, stuff that guard breaks like cats that you cant really block or counter that well. or say, when ninja spawn with fiends, its up to the player to decide when to dodge the guard breaks and when to counter, etc. Good job

Jan 24, 2024 · Sigma 2 is disappointing, I suggest installing Sigma 2 BLACK mod which brings back what made the original Ninja Gaiden 2 so great. Razors Edge is the best version of NG3, so no complaints there. All in all, they are fairly barebones ports, but there are some really good mods out there if you look hard enough.
